Originally I decided to change my life in April of 2010. At the time I was 200 lbs (90 kg) heavy and I didn’t know too much about how our body works and was doing my choices intuitively: I started eating a 1000 calories a day, trying to make healthier choices. It worked for me and I couldn’t be more excited. For the first month I lost 13 lbs (6 kg) - I finally felt that I’m in control of my body and that, as they say, I eat to live and not live to eat. In the middle of May I went to the United States for 4 month and it got easier and harder at the same time: I was living on my own (kinda ‘cos actually I was living with other people but I was food shopping on my own, cooking for myself etc. and it was awesome actually =) but the hard part was that I was working at the fast food store surrounded with this food all day long, so sometimes it was hard to resist the temptation (besides, I had a very nice boss who often insisted on me to eat something). But still I was losing weight pretty fast and more importantly inches - by the middle of August I weighed 165 lbs (74.9 kg) and I lost 4 inches (10 cm) in my weist. That was my lowest weight, the end of August and September were not very good dietwise.. I started gaining some weight although officially I didn’t quit my diet. When I got back to Ukraine I tried to keep on what I was doing, but my lifestyle still changed and despite my attempts I kept on slowly gaining weight. In March of 2011 I discovered Jillian Michaels. I’ve done her ‘30 days shred’ program, but it didn’t affect my weight a lot - I’ve lost maybe a pound or two (I was around 180 lbs (79-80 kg) then). Then I had a little break for a couple of weeks when I gained 7 pounds (3 kg) and I couldn’t lose them even when I got back to Jillian and her workouts: throughout May, June and July( till the 16th of) I was combining Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism with No More Trouble Zones. I had a work out every day and ate healthy (I also was trying to slowly increase my daily calorie intake to 1200). My weight remained the same. In the middle of July I went to the seaside for a week where I was doing completely nothing, but chilling and taking sunbathes at the beach and when I got back I was three pounds lighter and although it’s really nothing for me it was kinda a big deal. Moreover, I keep losing weight right now. So basicly I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t work out at the moment, but I walk a lot every day: 5-7 miles (8-12 km). I eat a 1000 calories again. I’m gonna go back to work outs again soon. That’s pretty much it. I don’t encourage anyone to follow me on this and I think that you shouldn’t go lower than 1200 calories a day. It should work for most people.

I’ll probably will post a picture every month (?).. dunno. Uhm, what else.. this is the weight graph from my phone app (sorry, it’s inly in kg and in Russian but I think it’s pretty self-explanatory(it may be not very accurate for 2010 but you don’t care :)
